Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management – IAE, founded in 1955, is among the leading business schools in Europe and the only French State University Business School with the double accreditation EQUIS and AMBA.

The MSc International Business degree programme provides students with transversal skills to develop responsible business in an international setting. It enables students to embrace strategic responsibilities as well as to control operational activities to face international managerial issues. It prepares for careers in international business development (international trade, business development, area manager) as well as in purchasing management.

Participants are trained for the strategy of internationalization in both large companies and SMEs, for international finance and marketing, for trade, purchasing and supply chain management in an international setting, and also for international business intelligence with country risk analysis, geopolitics and international law courses. In addition, they are prepared to evolve in international environments with skills in leadership and to effectively manage intercultural teams.

The programme is limited to 35 participants, with a variety of interactive teaching methods: case studies, company speed workshops, role playing, flash consulting projects, and business games. A particular concern is given to the development of negotiation skills and projects in an international setting. All courses are taught in English, by expert teachers, researchers and by professionals with international career backgrounds.

The group of participants expresses wealth of diversity with different nationalities and academic backgrounds. With 30% of the students from abroad, the group includes students and experienced professionals who choose continuing education.

The programme structure is adapted to integrate professional life. Students are considered as real professionals and half of them are in apprenticeship. The programme also provides a professional certification delivered by French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCEF). Consequently, the employment rate of student graduates is excellent (90% within 3 months) in multinational companies such as Orange, Airbus, Renault Nissan, CMA-CGM, Gemalto and in SMEs such as Racer or Wiko.
