 Module 1 : Knownledge and information Management - 36 h

With both knowledge and information emerging as products in today’s competitive industrial environment, students develop an in-depth understanding on how industries and companies need, more than ever, to profit from them and eventually transfer them into tangible capital and assets with the aid of information and communication technologies (ICTs).

 

Module 2 : Business Financial Management - 36 h

The course will cover the role of the financial manager, the principles of present value and net present value, the risk and return of investment decisions, an overview of financing decisions and market efficiency, the dividend controversy and capital structure and as a conclusion, the interaction of investment and financing decisions.

 

Module 3 : Cross Cultural Communication and Management - 36 h

Understanding multicultural staff has become an essential issue and concern for companies as they deal with worldwide mobility. The course is divided into thematic seminars, with each one treating a particular aspect related to successful tactics and approaches while engaging in and adapting to multicultural and multinational business environments.

 

Module 4 : Energy and sustainable development - 36 h

The objective of this course is to explore how environmental management has come about and is being applied in different situations at different levels, and in different countries. We will be looking at environmental management in business and in ecosystems. In each session, cases will be presented by the professor and/or by the students.

 

Module 5 : International Trade - 36 h

- Presentation of the different transportation solutions

- Selecting the good Incoterms also new version 2011

- Customs & clearing procedures

- Payments used on international sales

- Managing risk of change
