Market finance has always had a special positioning in the financial world. Strongly criticized after the 2008 financial crisis, it continues however to attract imagination. Many novels and movies tried to demystify this world but with limited success.
Working in market finance requires time and hard work to first dissipate the cloud of smoke surrounding the markets and start understanding the basics. Quantitative tools, financial assets knowledge and market finance technics are a prerequisite to decrypt how the markets do behave. It takes time and requires experience.
But all this hard work is just the beginning … success will only be achievable through your capacity to innovate, to think “out-of-the-box”.
We have designed the MSc FMI to provide you with a combination of practical and academic knowledge to fully comprehend economic and financial context in an always more technical environment.
On top of the fundamentals, you will learn how to develop innovative strategies in the very competitive world of market finance.
One program, 3 locations, 5 specializations
Regarding the increasing complexity of market finance, we propose common fundamentals but 4 different specializations spread on 3 campuses. Trading, Structuring and Portfolio Management related courses are concentrated in Nice Sophia Antipolis, Asset Management and Investment Banking are located in Paris, US Markets and Asset Valuation and a CFA level 2 preparation are located in the United States, Raleigh (North Carolina).
The classes are built on a diversity of student background and professional experiences. Highly international classes reflect the reality of working in today’s global business environment.
The teaching is provided by a subtle mix of prestigious practitioners and our international faculty members who have both strong academic and professional experience.
